2020
The Club Lions d’Earlton, the Fondation communautaire du Témiskaming & the Club d’Âge d’Or are now the proud owners of the building that formerly housed the village grocery store (Grocery King). François Gauthier, President of the Board of Directors carves a key for the new Coeur du Village.
The architectural plans are approved by the engineers and the municipality of Earlton.
As the old structures are demolished, volunteers salvage whatever they can to save costs.
Volunteers are preparing the new space, including exterior framing, wall and ceiling insulation.
Volunteers are putting up the interior walls. Watch out, Michel Léveillé has his nail gun!

2021

Openings are cut and windows are installed.
Volunteers go back to childhood and break the windows of the old grocery storefront. They then barricade the openings until the new windows are installed.
The support beam is delivered and installed.
Another big step, the doors are delivered!
The walls are prepared for the plasterer.
Finally, we add some color!

2022
The volunteers are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel… after 2 years of effort!
The new Coeur du Village Board of Directors office.
Except for a few tables, everything is ready for a little shuffle board game in the Salle Franc-À-Mi!

Our new professional kitchen is spacious and ready to prepare your meals!
